A new package has been released in Cydia which finally provides a way to fix push notifications for hacktivated iPhones.
The fix which was developed by anethema gives you genuine activation certifications that are always unique. Previous fixes resulted in activation certifications being shared with other users.
“I’ve found a way to generate these en-masse to supply a proper fix for all you hacktivators out there. Installing the app will simply download and inject unique certs into your phone’s keychain. This is still using the dev-team’s inject and nimble and a ton of this credit should be going to them.”

Web auction site eBay’s iPhone application [App Store] has been updated to version 1.4.0, the new version sporting push notifications as well as the ability to purchase items with PayPal directly from the app. According to MacRumors, the new push notification feature can let users know when they have been outbid or when the auction of a watched item is about to end.

iTwitter had push notifications for mentions and direct messages, but only from other iTwitter users. iTweetReply supposedly works for any mentions or DMs. Not the prettiest or most feature-packed, it’s $2 if you’re dying for Twitter push.
