Samsung has announced a 64GB moviNAND chip which could possibly be used in the next generation iPhone.
The 64GB moviNAND, which measures 1.4mm in height, consists of 16 30nm-class 32Gb MLC NAND chips and a controller. The 17-die stack was achieved by using 30-micron thick chips and advanced package technology. With the new 64GB solution, Samsung’s proprietary embedded memory, moviNAND, is now available in 64GB, 32GB, 16GB, 8GB and 4GB densities.

Evidence from Rogers suggests that Apple will soon release an 8GB version of the iPhone 3GS, according to the BoyGeniusReport.
The site has received images from Rogers in Canada that show an internal memo informing customers that the iPhone 3GS has launched in 8GB Black.
Rogers has now launched the iPhone 3GS in 8GB Black (120080). Effective immediately, this will be – (120050). In order to complete a smooth transition over to the new piece, inventory levels of the 3G ver – out of stock of an 8GB model. Please keep in mind that we are aiming to reduce our inventory levels – model and would ask that as you receive the new SKU that you continue to sell out of the older version.

ultrasn0w (the current iPhone software unlock solution) is now OFFICIALLY and completely supporting all iPhone’s, including the 3GS.
