There’s more bad news, as iPhone users are also reporting that thetethering and MMS hack don’t work after upgrading to iPhone OS 3.1.

As you might already know, tethering and MMS features are still not available to AT&T’s iPhone customers even though Apple had introduced these features in iPhone OS 3.0 almost three months back.

AdMob, the mobile advertising startup has released June 2009 Metrics Report, which reveals some interesting details about the hugely successful iPhone App Store.

According to AdMob, iPhone Apps worth $200 million are sold every month or about $2.4 billion a year on the iPhone App Store.

AdMob surveyed more than 1000 of their iPhone, iPod Touch and Android users. Below are some findings from the survey carried out by AdMob and usage behavior found on various iPhone apps and web sites across its ad network.

The 10.5.6 update for Mac OS X Leapord that Apple released back in December 2008 prevented Mac from recognizing iPhone in DFU mode, making it impossible to jailbreak and/or unlock it using PwnageTool or QuickPwn.

So if you are worried about the 10.5.7 update for Mac OS X that was released by Apple earlier in the week then the good news is that iPhone Dev Team has tweeted that the update is safe.
We had seen various solutions to re-enable DFU mode. The safest method to put iPhone in DFU mode was to either connect it to a USB Hub connected to your Mac (not directly) or borrow your friends Windows computer.
