NukJon, a forum member at iPhone dash hacks has released a very handy Windows application named iUSB Tunnel.
With a simple interface of iUSB Tunnel, you can SSH into your iPhone, iPhone Tethering and much more in a simple and easy way.
iUSB Tunnel is a simple gui that makes it easy to use SSH, VNC and Tethering with your iPhone over usb on a Windows machine. It’s a free liteweight program and portable so you can run it from a usb stick if you want. It comes loaded with WinSCP, Putty, Firefox Portable, iTunnel, TightVNC and UltraVNC so you don’t have to download those programs.

iTwin is a Windows based app which lets you access your iPhone databases from your PC in a simple UI. As per The official website:
iTwin is a program for the Windows PC, that will show the content of your iPhone/iPod Touch databases in a quite familiar ‘Look & Feel’. You will have access to your ‘Contacts’, your ‘SMS’, to the ‘Calendar’ and to your ‘Notes’. In addition iTwin will generate a ‘Birthday-List’ including ‘Zodics’ out of your contact details.

Developer Patrick Collison has published a technique which tricks iPhone’s code signing mechanisms into giving third party iPhone developers access to dynamic launch images rather than being stuck with static ‘Default.png’ images.
Jason Kincaid of TechCrunch had initially believed that it was a serious security flaw as he felt developers could use it to bypass Apple’s App Store approval process to release an updated version of their iPhone app
by executing arbitrary code from within their own applications whenever they wish. Read the full story

The iPhone Dev Team who had reported last week that they have cracked iPhone 3G’s baseband and are getting closer to unlock iPhone 3G have published a customary post on their blog to tell us that they have managed to successfully jailbreak and unlock the first generation iPhone running iPhone firmware 2.2 Beta 2 which was recently seeded to developers of its iPhone Developer program.

When you try to sync your iPhone with iTunes library on another computer, you are prompted by the warning message seen in the screen shot below informing you that your iPhone is synced with another iTunes library and the only choice at this point is to either “Cancel” or “Erase and Sync” from this iTunes library.
