iPad 2 Out Performs Original iPad by 150%(0) The SunSpider JavaScript Benchmark test shows that the iPad 2 performs 1.5x faster than the iPad 1 on iOS 4.3 and 4x faster than the iPad 1 on 4.2, according to a CNET report. The good news for anyone thinking of buying the iPad 2 is that it did incredibly well in the test, outperforming all the rivals we have in the building to compare with it. That includes the original iPad, which at first was nearly 4x slower to get through the test than the new version. Apple’s iPhone 5 and iPad 2 upgraded to Dual-Core CPU(0)
An analyst at Rodman & Renshaw claims that the upcoming Apple iPad 2 will feature a dual-core CPU to compete with the likes of RIM PlayBook, and the Android “Honeycomb” based Motorola Tablet.
If this happens, it will be the first iOS product from the Cupertino-based company to sport a dual-core chip. And since both the current iPad and iPhone 4 shares same A4 CPU, it will be a no brainer for Apple to include the same chip in iPhone 5 that they are going to use in iPad 2. The analyst also told CNET something about the Verizon iPhone:

Dual Viewer For Facebook 1.0(0) eFUSION Co has launched a new product for iPad users. The application allows users to access their Facebook accounts from anywhere, using iPad or PC mode. All of the Facebook regular features such as ‘Places’, full screen photo browsing and more are available and flipping from one mode to the other is extremely fast and easy. Users not only do not give up any functionality, they gain portability. Dual Viewer For Facebook is a new launch which, as the name suggests, offers users a dual platform for viewing and interacting with their Facebook accounts. The app operates smoothly in iPad or PC mode, so location and viewing preference is not a factor for accessibility, as long as there is WiFi available. The iPad mode allows users a view of their Facebook account that has been optimized specifically for the device. If a user prefers the traditional look and functionality of Facebook on their computer, they merely switch the app to PC mode. Users have full access to all of the regular Facebook features, such as ‘Places’ and full screen photo browsing. When it comes to watching videos, users merely need to flip to PC mode. |
