Zeppelin is a MobileSubstrate tweak that enables easy Carrier Logo switching in iOS, reports ModMyi.

Zeppelin doesn’t just change your carrier text, it lets you replace that text with an image. The tweak includes a few default images: Android, Aperture Science, Assassin’s Creed, Batman, Beats by dre, Blue Cloud, Infiniti, Pac-Man, Space Invaders, Superman, Triforce.

If you want to add your own icons you can use iFile or SSH to place them in /Library/Zeppelin.

An update to the Corona Untethered Jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1 has been released in Cydia.

Saurik notes that all users jailbroken on iOS 5.0.1 should install the update.

@planetbeing put a lot of work into solving iBooks image loading bugs. All users (however jailbroken) on 5.0.1 should install.

So, most of the feedback I have received from “all users (however jailbroken) running 5.0.1″ has been “even me? I did X.”: yes, even you. ;P

Custom Siri Background is a tweak by Ori Kadosh that lets you easily change Siri’s background wallpaper.

This lets you customize Siri’s background with a simple cell in settings that lets you choose either a photo from your photo library or you can take one (if you have camera enabled device).

It is very much like a tweak I made not a while ago – Custom NC Background. Only that this changes Siri’s background and Custom NC Background changes the notification center background.

The iPhone Dev-Team has released RedSn0w 0.9.9b7 which brings a new faster jailbreak option.

After some feedback on reddit, we’ve decided to make the initial jailbreak as quick as possible by no longer “stashing” the applications by default during the redsn0w run.  This reduces the time to actually perform the jailbreak from 210 seconds to 80 seconds (60 percent!).  However, you make up for much of that the first time you launch Cydia, which will then want to stash the applications.  You can choose whether you want redsn0w or Cydia to stash in the Preferences panel.
