Digitimes is reporting that Apple will announced new iPads with upgraded processors, a Verizon iPhone with a metal antenna back, and an Apple TV with no hard drive.
Their report indicates that the 9.7-inch iPad will adopt a new ARM Cortex-A9-based processor and 512MB RAM in the first quarter of 2011. They also expect Apple to launch a 7-inch iPad using the Cortex-A9 processor and an IPS panel with a resolution of 1024×768. iLounge recently predicted a 7-inch iPad as well.

Just moments after quietly announcing that the white iPhone 4 is now scheduled to ship sometime between tomorrow and your New Year’s Eve party, the company has also fired up its iPhone 4 Case Program. It’s always nice to have a fulfilling hobby to help you while away the time, and collecting things can be a very enjoyable pastime. People like to collect coins, stamps, furniture, and so on, or, if you’re a Predator, you’ll find that you really get a buzz from collecting human heads. The App Store will no longer support iOS 2.x applications, according to the iOS 4 Readiness Checklist for developers.
Existing apps in the Apps Store and those built using iPhone SDK 3.1.3 should already run on iOS 4 without modification. However, you should test your existing apps on a development device running iOS 4 to be certain there aren’t any compatibility issues. All new applications and updates to existing applications must be built with iPhone SDK 4. Please note, the App Store will not longer support applications that target iOS 2.x.
Apple also recommends resubmitting your application with high resolution artwork for those who have not done this already.

Apple has released an iTunes Connect iPhone application for developers to access their sales and trend data.
The iTunes Connect Mobile application allows developers to access their sales and trend data from iTunes Connect. You can now view your daily and weekly sales data related to updates, paid and free apps as well as In-App purchases. Whether at the office, at home or on the go, iTunes Connect Mobile keeps you informed about your sales numbers right on your iPhone or iPod touch.

Irrespective of Apple policy, we know that many of our readers already purchased a US iPad for use — gasp — outside of the United States. With favorable exchange rates and an early US launch really, who could blame you? But after notifying your local customs office and paying your government tithe, the very next thing you probably did was notice that you couldn’t buy iPad apps from your local iTunes app store. Now you can, at least if the sudden deluge of tweets and tips from Dutch, UK, German and Swiss iPad owners now hitting our inbox is any indication.
