iOS 4.1 Jailbreak coming soon!(0) News has arisen that, to be honest unexpectedly, a jailbreak for the iOS 4.1 is in the works. MuscleNerd has said that he expects Comex, who is the one who created the userland jailbreaks for iOS 4.0 and the Spirit jailbreak OS 3.1.2/3.1.3, to pull a trifecta and find another exploit to create another userland exploit for the new iOS 4.1 firmware that is going to be released on September 8th. The second part of the tweet tells us that if Comex doesn’t manage to find another userland exploit, you are going to have to wait for the Dev Team to update the Redsn0w programs to support the new firmware. But for now, if you are interested in jailbreaking or unlocking your iPhone or iPod Touch, do not update further than the iOS 4.0.1 firmware. iOS 4.0.1 is jailbreakable using JailbreakMe.com. |

Upcoming Comex Release Will Jailbreak All 4.0 iDevices(0) MuscleNerd has announced that an upcoming comex release will jailbreak all 4.0 devices. This has freed up the iPhone Dev-Team to work on an unlock for the iPhone 4. jailbreak for all devices at 4.0 is already handled by upcoming @comex release so, good time for iphone4 unlock stuff Comex also authored the 3.1.2 and 3.1.3 userland jailbreak called Spirit. Tethered 4.0 Jailbreak for iPhone 3GS With New Bootrom Coming Soon(0) iH8Sn0w has successfully performed a tethered 4.0 jailbreak for iPhone 3GS devices with the new bootrom. Unfortunately the jailbreak requires that you have your 3.1.2 SHSH blobs saved. Originally this was not planned for release; however, iH8Sn0w has agreed to make it public.
