The iPhone Dev-Team is expected to release the UltraSn0w unlock soon which will support PIN-Locked SIM cards, according to MuscleNerd.
“Good news…ultrasn0w is compatible with PIN-locked sims”
“PIN-locked sims require you to enter a code before using it. Some people (often, with corporate phones) are forced to use them”
The Dev-Team is working diligently on completing the unlock. We will inform you as soon as it becomes available and publish a
tutorial on how to use it.
Please stay tuned!

I jail broke my iphone 3G second Edition when I got a new one on exchange. I thought with having 2.2.1 Firmware this would be a good time to jail break it. After completing this I wanted to restore all my paid apps and music, but realised the last copy I made I did I had the 3.0 installed. But from reading I read where it was ok to reinstall using the Apple iPhone sync to restore all my apps and music without a pproblem. Using About it says 3.0 (7A341) MODEL IS MB046LL AND THE FIRMWARE IS 04.26.08 using Cydia it does not install any software and No Service with the new Simm I bought for it. I am confused will Ultrasnow fix this or am I stuck.
