IGF Mobile and ngmoco have announced that they are teaming up to offer a $10,000 prize for the 2009 Independent Games Festival Mobile. Contestants can enter a game to compete in the contest, and finalists in the Best iPhone Game category will be invited to showcase their games at the IGF ceremony.
Contestants who enter a game will be eligible for all of the categories, including design, art, technical and audio awards, a Best Game award and a handful of others.
Also, for the first time, developers this year can enter their games in the contest free of charge. Winners will be announced at Game Developers Conference 2009
